Don't stress out about all the cooking for tomorrow. Try not to sacrifice the perfectly good at the altar of 'perfection'. You're going to do just fine. You're probably not a trained chef. Neither am I. The good news is that there is enough love in my home to overcome the slightly overcooked, lumpy, uneven, under/over salted, a bit too brown offerings. Boxed mac and cheese can be a sumptuous feast under the right circumstances and with the right people.
I used to let this stuff really get to me. Time's too precious to allow for that. You can't rewrite history, or undo the needless worry. It's had its effect for better or worse.
It's not about the perfect meal, but rather about the care and love that you put into making it. If other people don't recognize that, that's their problem. Don't make it yours.
